I moved to West Yellowstone in August 2013 to be the pastor of the Community Protestant Church. I love being part of the West Yellowstone community. This has been and continues to be a great place to pursue my passion for the outdoors—hiking, backpacking, fishing, and enjoying the beauty of the Creation all around this region.
I am in my eighth year on the School Board. Education has always been important to me. I have a bachelor’s degree and master's degree, and I continue to seek education for my own personal benefit. I was asked to consider running for an open School Board position, and the opportunity made sense to me. I began on the Board with all four of my children in the school. As a parent, I wanted to make sure my children had access to a good education. My youngest will graduate at the end of the current school year.
My goal on the Board has always been to help the school move toward a higher standard of academic achievement. I believe we are building an educational community that works well together to achieve excellence. This would not be possible without the support of the whole West Yellowstone community. Thank you for supporting our students.
